When deficient in these vitamins, it can put you at risk of getting sick. Sleep
Those who are short on sleep have a higher chance of getting sick. If one is getting enough sleep they will not increase their stress hormones and are well protected against illnesses. Additionally, less sleep can lead to more inflammation in the body.
Exercise
START EXERCISING! Any type of exercise will decrease your chances of being ill. Activities like walking, running, jogging, biking, swimming, lifting weights, and hiking are important to a healthy immune system.
Connection
Having strong relationships and a solid social life is good for your immune system. Now, that doesn’t mean go drink 20 beers with friends, it means that those who feel connected to friends get less sick than those who are often alone. Make connections and have fun! Smile and be stress free!
