How Burman’s is Addressing Changes to the PACT Act and Vape Shipping Restrictions
As you may have already heard, the government is placing restrictions on the shipment of vapes and vape accessories after making an amendment to the PACT Act. The Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking (PACT) Act will seriously impact consumer shipments of vape products and accessories.
But here at Burman’s, we’re taking every step necessary to comply with the Act so we can continue shipping vape products to our customers.
What does this mean for Burman’s?
Our customers are our top priority. We’re stepping up to the plate so we can continue providing the highest quality of products with minimal disruptions. The price of vape cartridges, vape accessories and shipping might rise due to the new amendment. However, our vape cartridges and accessories will still be available in store and online.
New requirements for online retailers:
- Age verification using a commercial database
- Private shipping services that collect signatures upon delivery
- Registration with the ATF, U.S. Attorney General and with state and local tax administrators
- Transaction history for all purchases
With advice from the Burman’s legal team, we’ve created a new shipping system to address the age verification requirements. Burman’s has also made the decision to invest in carrier services to comply with the PACT Act and ensure we’re keeping the safety of our customers top of mind.
What does this mean for you?
Before the new PACT Act guidelines go into effect, we’re hosting a blowout sale on our vape cartridges and vape accessories. On Wednesday, March 24 and Thursday, March 25, Burman’s is offering 20 percent off your purchase and free shipping with code BLOWOUT. Take advantage of this sale before prices increase!
