These popular cannabinoids from the hemp plant have been around for hundreds of years. Today extensive research has been conducted, and we now know more about these fascinating cannabinoids. But because they’ve grown in popularity, many people don’t know where to start!
The Differences Between Delta-8, Delta-9 and Delta-10
Delta-9
Delta-9-THC is currently legal in Pennsylvania for medicinal use, but requires a medical card. Delta-9 is distributed in medical marijuana shops with proof of a medical marijuana license. It can also be found in trace amounts (0.3 percent) in other products including CBD oils, Delta-8 oils and even future Delta-10 products.
Of all the THC cannabinoids, Delta-9-THC is the most potent. Its potency can sometimes cause anxiety and paranoia since the psychoactive effects are so strong, which is why many people opt for other cannabinoids like Delta-8, Delta-10 and CBD.
Delta-8
Recently many have found that the psychoactive effects of Delta-8-THC aren’t quite as powerful as Delta-9-THC. The effects of Delta-8 are about two-thirds the potency of Delta-9, which is why many believe Delta-8 is beneficial for stress and anxiety—it’s not as strong.
Currently Delta-8 has a huge following and has helped many consumers. Overall, it produces a more uplifting effect, and many people don’t experience the level of paranoia they would with Delta-8-THC. It comes in many forms—oils, liquid shots, capsules, and more. If you’re new to THC cannabinoids, Delta-8-THC is a great place to start with its mellow, soothing psychoactive effects.
Delta-10
Delta-10 is the up-and-coming THC cannabinoid. It’s one of hundreds of cannabinoids inside the hemp plant capturing researchers’ attention.
What makes this cannabinoid so interesting? The effects it can produce. Though Delta-10 is similar to its predecessors Delta-8 and Delta-9, the psychoactive effects of Delta-10 aren’t as strong. However, it can still produce a euphoric, soothing, and uplifting effect, minus the anxiety and paranoia.
Many people are looking for pain relief and stress and anxiety relief, but they don’t want the negative effects that can come with it. Delta-10, similar to Delta-8, can produce just the right effect to provide relief and make the consumer feel great at the same time.
